July is the traditional off-season for the auto market, but this year SAIC Motor achieved growth against the trend, with vehicle sales reaching 507,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 43.7%; from May to July, vehicle sales achieved a "three consecutive rises" month-on-month, production and sales accelerated to make up for the better.In the first seven months of this year, SAIC's vehicle sales exceeded 2.74 million units, and the year-on-year growth rate of cumulative sales "turned from negative to positive", outperforming the industry market.

The SAIC Group's production and sales report released yesterday showed that its own brands, new energy vehicles, and the "new troika" in overseas markets continued to make efforts. SAIC passenger vehicles sold 86,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 72.8%; SAIC's new energy vehiclesSales reached 106,000 units for the first time, a year-on-year increase of 118.1%; overseas sales reached a new high of 98,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 91.3%.At the same time, the joint venture accelerated the pace of stabilization and recovery. SAIC Volkswagen sold 130,000 vehicles, an increase of 85.2% year-on-year; SAIC-GM sold 115,000 vehicles, an increase of 27.8% year-on-year; SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 145,000 vehicles, an increase of 31.8% year-on-year.From January to July, the year-on-year growth rate of SAIC's cumulative sales "turned from negative to positive", laying a solid foundation for the second half of the year to fully sprint to the annual sales target of 6 million.

In July, SAIC Motor's own brand vehicle sales reached 260,000, accounting for more than 50% of the total sales.Among them, SAIC Passenger Vehicle sold 86,000 vehicles, Roewe i5, MG

ZS and MG5 series achieved monthly sales exceeding 10,000.Zhiji Auto's first product, L7, has delivered a total of 1,051 units to users, making it the fastest domestic luxury pure electric model with a cumulative delivery volume exceeding 1,000 units.In terms of new energy vehicles, SAIC's new energy vehicle sales exceeded 100,000 units in July, achieving the "best monthly performance in history".

In overseas markets, SAIC Motor sold 98,000 vehicles in July, setting a new record for Chinese automakers in overseas markets.For the first time, the SAIC MG brand has won the monthly "Pure Electric Sales Champion" in the Swedish auto market, and its monthly sales in Europe approached the scale of 10,000 units.MGMULAN, which is based on the "Nebula" pure electric exclusive system platform, has been shipped to Europe and will be launched globally. This year, the "first 100,000-vehicle regional market" will be built in Europe.
